New executive for the Locksmiths Guild of Australia

There are some new faces and some reshuffling of national executive positions at the Locksmiths Guild of Australia Inc.

Ron Thomas is the new National President. Long standing President Kel Phillips has stood down in order to spend more time with his young family. Ron, a NSW locksmith, moves into the President's role after spending some years as National Vice President.

Bob Tierney from Victoria has taken on the Vice President's position Bob, a Southern Chapter committeeman, will also be responsible for constitutional matters.

John Dunn, well known in Queensland locksmith circles, becomes the National Training Officer. John will coordinate the efforts of the Chapter Training Officers in the various states.

Other Executive positions are unchanged, Alan Hopkins remains as the National Secretary with Graham Behrendorff staying on as the National Treasurer; Richard Knowles will continue to attend to Public Affairs and Corporate Communications.

Day to day operations of the Guild's National Office remain under the control of Barbara Ertz.

The Guild continues to be run by locksmiths for locksmiths !
