IFSEC Istanbul Conference paints a picture for the next ten years

IFSEC Istanbul 2013 takes place from 30th September- 2nd October 2013 and features a dedicated conference programme as part of the ongoing education delivered by the IFSEC Academy.

The high-level conference will address the current state of the security and fire markets, with its content designed to help shape the future for both across the next decade.

IFSEC Istanbul's conference programme features presentations from influential leaders at Frost & Sullivan, GESIDER, UKTI and many more. Providing a forum for discussion, the programme will also present the ideal opportunity for delegates to network with their industry colleagues.

Day One will see delegates and visitors to the IFSEC Istanbul 2013 exhibition receive an in-depth overview of the security market, current trends, threats and challenges.

Claude Tarlet, First Vice President from CoESS, will present a 'State of the Security Nation' address as part of the prestigious opening ceremony. Tarlet said: "I'm delighted to be opening the inaugural IFSEC Istanbul conference. Regional and international delegates will undoubtedly generate engaging debates, and we can all share our views on ways in which we believe the security sector might develop over the next ten years."

The morning of Day Three features a debate focused on the Cash-in-Transit market. Discussions will be energised around the problems posed in this sector and the solutions that can be developed to overcome them in the region.

In the afternoon on Day Three, another debate sees parallels being drawn between private investigations in the UK and what's happening in the Turkish market. The lessons learned here will be invaluable to delegates, both from within Turkey and on the international stage.

Speaking about the IFSEC Istanbul 2013 conference programme, Brian Sims (Media Solutions Manager for UBM Live's Security and Fire Portfolio) commented: "We're excited to have such influential speakers joining us for the inaugural IFSEC Istanbul conference. As technology pushes forward and develops the security and fire markets, engaging in topical conversation becomes crucial in ensuring specialists are up-to-date on what's happening in their professional environment."

With a number of sessions still to be announced, this year's IFSEC Istanbul conference programme is certain to draw high attendance numbers and be well received.

Adequate breaks will allow conference attendees time to browse the latest innovations on the show floor at the IFSEC Istanbul exhibition, with both local distributors and leading international suppliers displaying their latest products and technologies.
