Allegion announces new key account manager
Allegion has confirmed the appointment of Alan Kent as Key Account Manager for the South UK, in a move which highlights the importance of regionalised bespoke door hardware specification for the specialist security provider.
With more than 14 years' experience in the security industry, Alan will be based in the field conducting travel across the South of the UK - from Lands End to Margate - keeping customers up to date with changes and promotions, informing on the comprehensive solutions within Allegion's portfolio.
With direct experience of placing electronic access control within commercial sectors such as education, healthcare and hospitality, Alan will be working closely with architects, contractors and business owners to raise awareness of industry leading brands such as CISA and Briton.
Paul Cundy, Sales Leader UK and Ireland Security & Safety Hardware at Allegion, commented on the new appointment: "Alan will work closely with our customers in the South to provide specification support while responding to queries relating to door hardware and security solutions. Alan's track record in this area will be invaluable when it comes to supporting sectors such as transport, healthcare, education and commercial - informing on industry trends and business needs, while bringing product knowledge to the fore."
Alan also commented: "It's an exciting time to be working for a brand such as Allegion, as technology such as Near Field Communication is expected to really take off in 2015 and beyond. It will be great to build on my access control experience with the backing of the recently launched inspec guide and Allegion's extensive product offering."
