Designed for monitoring large open areas with just one camera, the PNM-9020V is equipped with multi-sensors which enable it to capture superb quality seamlessly stitched 180° images. Four 2MP images with 3.6mm lenses work in harmony to produce the 180° composite images.
This is achieved with the help of a synchronised alignment lever located in the centre of the camera which raises and lowers the sensors in unison to facilitate easy set up.
Tyco Security Products continues to invest in its Kantech access control brand with the launch of an updated version of its EntraPass security software.
EntraPass software enables users to operate any number of doors where card access is required and is compatible with all Kantech door controllers. Version 7.10 incorporates improvements to existing functionality, as well as a number of new innovative features, including support for a server based Go Pass mobile App which allows card holders to use their mobile phones as an access control credential.
The University of Huddersfield has installed two-way IP audio-video intercom from leading European IP intercom manufacturer Castel at its Queensgate Campus. The new system will manage the exit and entry of vehicles and visitors.
The Queensgate site has seen investment of £100 million on infrastructure and resources over the past 10 years and Castel worked with installer Kenyon Access Consultants to enable university staff to communicate effectively with visitors before allowing them entry.
