This Week's News
The Grenfell Tower disaster has been a tragic wake-up call. We have seen how destructive fires can be and how much devastation they can cause in a short amount of time. It's high time we recognise the importance of fire doors and the crucial role they play in restricting the spread of fire and smoke.
According to a survey of more than 1,000 tenants living in flats by Atomik Research, 58 per cent of all tenants do not know who the 'responsible person' is for ensuring their buildings are fire safe. Even worse is that 53 per cent of people would not know how to spot a dodgy fire door, according to research shared by the Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA) in September 2016.
Following an exceptional response at the MLA Expo 2017, Keyprint Security is pleased to introduce the Xhorse key cutting machines and key programming devices to the UK. The Keyprint team will also provide their customers with full technical support to answer their questions and help solve any issue they might have.
The new Xhorse range is ideal for locksmiths, auto locksmiths and key cutters who want to expand their services or just need a back-up kit for their van. With a very competitive price point, users will be able to save money without compromising on the quality of the services they provide.
The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is encouraging industry practitioners and security buyers to register for their free place at its upcoming Connected Products and Cyber Security Seminar.
The free-to-attend event is taking place at the Greswolde Arms, Knowle, Solihull B93 0LL on Thursday 2nd November and is open to security and fire buyers and installers, or indeed anybody from either industry with an interest in improving their business' cyber security and data protection policies.
