Trailer released for indie film The Locksmith Mike is a locksmith. He’s also a prisoner on work release, but you wouldn’t know it. He’s just trying to focus on his house calls and reconcile with his ex-girlfriend. Until Margo hijacks his day. A live-wire kook who’s certain her boyfriend is cheating on her, Margo bulldozes Mike into spying on the alleged cad. The result: an all-day adventure with a stolen vehicle, a visit to an unlikely drug dealer, and a low blood-sugar attack. If this doesn't sound like a typical day for you, you won't be surprised to learn that it's the storyline for a new film, called, appropriately enough, The Locksmith.
The T24 incorporates a 360° high-resolution camera to capture images of the entire area in front of a building's entrance without any blind spots. When a doorbell is rung, a connection is established with an onsite VoIP video phone allowing the occupier to see and communicate with the visitor. A key feature of the T24, however, is that video and audio communication can also be achieved via a desktop PC or laptop and if required, a door can be opened remotely. The T24, which is based on the international video telephony standard VoIP/SIP and uses H.264 compression, has an integrated message feature which allows occupiers when they are going out to leave personalised messages which are automatically played back when a visitor rings the doorbell. Also included in the T24's long list of innovative features is the ability to continuously record activity taking place outside a building's entrance or the recording can be triggered by motion detection.
Samsung has launched a new range of stylish video door phones and associated door cameras with a range of features and functions that make them ideal for the requirements of residential and commercial buildings. The range consists of: Bramah secures Starlight technology units

Irritating song reminds folk to lock up A survey carried out by Gwent Police shows that the annoying but catchy ‘Be Aware’ song, reminding people to lock up, IS helping to reduce the number of insecure properties. The force has teamed up Gio Compario, the opera singer who advertises Newport based insurance comparison site Go Compare, to record a 40 second advert. In the survey, almost 90% of people said it would stick in their minds, and encourage them to lock up. Twenty thousand leaflets backing the message have been delivered across Gwent to areas where the number of burglaries has increased. Locksmith out to reclaim his name
Ed Walters is trying to get the word out that his Raleigh Locksmith company was not involved in the network of locksmiths operating fraudulently in North Carolina. Last week a Superior Court judge barred 704 Locksmith of Charlotte from doing business in the state. 704 Locksmith was doing business in the Triangle as Raleigh Locksmith, Durham Locksmith, Apex Locksmith and Smithfield Locksmith. Ed Walters' Raleigh Locksmith company has been in business in Raleigh since 1981. It is family-owned and operated. And it is not affiliated with 704 Locksmith. The state Locksmith Licensing Board confirmed that Walters is licensed with the state and has not been the subject of any disciplinary actions. Vicon has launched a new range of 2.0 megapixel day/night cameras which support H.264, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG compression, enabling the simultaneous transmission of multiple video streams at different resolutions, frame rates and image qualities, for viewing on different platforms. Europe's best selling IP alarm transmission system, Chiron's IRIS system, was featured for the first time at the Security 2010 Exhibition and Conference in Sydney, Australia (1st-3rd September). Chiron showcased its award-winning technology alongside Security Distributors Australia, its partner for IRIS solutions in Australian markets. There are already more than 40,000 IRIS units installed worldwide, including Hong Kong, China and Papua New Guninea, monitored by 180 ARCs, making it the most popular technology for IP alarm transmission. Infinova integrators and distributors can help customers control video surveillance, reduce maintenance costs and protect their business environment by offering Infinova Megapixel and IP cameras installed with Milestone Systems XProtect Video Management software. Since Milestone products are based on an open platform that uses the TCP/IP network protocol, Infinova integrators and their customers will be able to build the video surveillance solutions using standard video and computer hardware.

Graham Jones of MPL has joined the team of directors after stepping up from two years as an associate. Jones got involved with the club through joint-chairman Mark Lawn. The pair run MPL in Wakefield which oversees six locksmith companies. "I've always supported Bradford and when Mark got involved with the club, I wanted to as well," said Jones. On a practical front, that has meant offering his expertise around the stadium to facilities manager David Dowse.
