UNION, part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions, is warning specifiers and installers about the dangers of fitting incorrect door closers for non-insulated metal fire doors.
While many door closers are stated as being approved for metal fire doors, in a number of cases this only applies to insulated metal fire doors. And with around 8 out of 10 metal fire doors sold in the UK are non-insulated, this means many door closers are not fit for purpose - with potentially disastrous results.
Leveraging the same industry-leading core technology as the multi-award-winning Maevex 6100 Series quad 4K enterprise encoders, Maevex 6120 delivers simultaneous dual 4K input capture, stream, and record-with options to stream and record even more channels in different configurations-all on a standard one Gigabit Ethernet network.
When the developers of Exeter's Queen Street student accommodation block were looking for an efficient yet versatile security system for their latest multi occupation complex they turned to the Securefast team of security specialists to provide the perfect user friendly locking solution.

Attending the 37th East -West International Security Conference organised by Capricorn Conferences and Exhibitions on 4th and 5th June 2018 at the Lisbon Marriott Hotel, Portugal, were delegates representing private and public sector organisations from the Russian Federation and Ukraine.

Magenta Security Services has been recognised by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) after taking significant steps towards protecting its online systems. The effort has seen them added to a list of endorsed organisations on the NCSC's website and accredited with a Cyber Essentials certificate.
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed, industry-approved scheme aimed at helping organisations protect against common types of cyber-attacks. At its basic level, it advocates for businesses to implement certain technical controls in order to bolster overall system security.
