Last chance to exhibit at Lockexpo 2019! Lockexpo returns to the East Midlands Conference Centre on the 2nd and 3rd of March for its 10th consecutive year. We've only got 4 stands left and we're anticipating great visitor numbers (pre-registrations are through the roof!), so this is your chance to get in front of locksmiths from all over the country (and some from further afield!). We're the UK's only annual locksmiths' exhibition, and the East Midlands Conference Centre is a purpose built facility in a great location with loads of parking and a hotel on-site. As well as the exhibition area, we have several training workshops, a family room, a bar and cafe and additional features such as the Lock Collectors and a locksmith bring & buy. New exhibition: Unmanned Security & Safety Expo Unmanned Security & Safety Expo New York is an all-new, trade-only event focused on UAS and UGV technology and hardware. Restricted to qualified professionals sourcing or providing autonomous solutions in commercial and government security and safety, drone detection/counter-system applications, updates and education in UAV regulations, and more. To be held 20-21 Nov 2019 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York, and is anticipated to be an annual event. Security co. director jailed for supplying fake guards to UK fests The director of Welsh event security firm, LS Armour, has received a prison sentence of two years and three months following an investigation by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) into unlicensed security staff at UK music events. Lee Szuchnik supplied unlicensed guards to music festivals in June and July 2017.
