New phase of Vanderbilt SPC wireless devices aimed at installer convenience Vanderbilt has announced new devices to complement the existing range of SPC Wireless system. The new range of devices include: * WSIR-EXT - Wireless external sounder/beacon available with a blue, red, or orange beacon. Mitie to provide nationwide security services for HMRC - Mitie to deliver HMRC's first national contract for security services Mitie has been chosen to provide technology-led security services to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC). Covering a five-year period, the contract marks the first time HMRC has combined all its security services under one national provider. Allegion UK steps up to the challenge, raising awareness for fire safety Allegion UK, a leading specialist in fire safety and security products and solutions, has taken an impressive 533,321 steps towards raising £500 in aid of Fire Door Safety Week (FDSW) and The Fire Fighters Charity.
Using two treadmills, 35 employees from the Allegion UK team worked as one to take part in their corporate challenge to walk, run, jog or dance 500,000 steps in four days. During the challenge, the team joined forces with the West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS), who visited the Allegion offices in Aston, Birmingham, to help them achieve their ambitious goal. Genetec establishes UK Headquarters in the City of London Genetec Inc., a leading technology provider of unified security, public safety, operations, and business intelligence solutions, has announced that it will unveil new headquarters in the City of London, in the autumn of 2019. The announcement follows a period of accelerated growth for Genetec in the United Kingdom, with a significant and sustained increase in EMEA revenues over the last five years.
