Mitie to provide nationwide security services for HMRC

- Mitie to deliver HMRC's first national contract for security services
- Technology-led approach will use Mitie's intelligence expertise, including the newly launched Global Security Operations Centre in Northampton
- Commitment to increase the number of ex-military personnel and apprentices working on the contract

Mitie has been chosen to provide technology-led security services to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC). Covering a five-year period, the contract marks the first time HMRC has combined all its security services under one national provider.

Allegion UK steps up to the challenge, raising awareness for fire safety

Using two treadmills, 35 employees from the Allegion UK team worked as one to take part in their corporate challenge to walk, run, jog or dance 500,000 steps in four days. During the challenge, the team joined forces with the West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS), who visited the Allegion offices in Aston, Birmingham, to help them achieve their ambitious goal.
