Locksmith frees crying toddler after 4 hours in shut bank vault A 14-month-old girl who wandered away from her mother and grandmother spent four hours trapped inside a time-locked bank vault until a locksmith freed her. The child apparently strayed into the open vault as the bank was closing. After the missing child was spotted on security cameras inside the vault, Atlanta police and firefighters tried unsuccessfully to free the toddler and feverishly summoned the locksmith. While rescue workers pumped fresh air into vents leading to the vault while the locksmith worked, authorities stood by along with the child's relatives. MLA campaigns for industry recognition
G4S, the international security solutions group, today announces that G4S Secure Solutions (UK) Limited (G4S UK) has become the Official Security Services Provider and tier three sponsor of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games following the appointment made by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG). Under the agreement, G4S UK will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing the 10,000-strong security workforce that will be tasked with securing the Games alongside colleagues from the police and local authorities across all London 2012 competition and non-competition venues.
