Hanwha Vision launches bi-spectrum AI camera for rapid thermal detection and visual identification

Hanwha Vision has launched a new bi-spectrum AI camera range that provides visual and thermal views of an area simultaneously. The TNM-C4940TD, TNM-C4950TD, and TNM-C4960TD are equipped with two lenses to generate a VGA thermal image and a 4K visual image.

The thermal lens enables perimeter detection of suspicious activity even in low light, poor weather conditions, or when visual barriers, such as foliage block the area.

Summer must mean it’s that time of the year again where Hickleys pack up their storerooms and set off to the midlands. This year was no exception! Two full truckloads of stock and equipment allowed us to set up our home from home at the fantastic GTG Centre in Wolverhampton. With everything from remote keys and transponders to key cutting machines and commercial quality tooling. There really was something for everyone in the Auto and domestic locksmithing industry.

Revealed: locksmiths spend £380 on tools each year

New research has revealed that UK locksmiths spend an average of £380 on tools each year:

The study, conducted by ElectricalDirect, asked tradespeople about their outgoings on tools, maintenance and repairs, and found that 43% of locksmiths can't afford the new tools they need.  Furthermore, 36% keep their tools for longer than they used to, and 43% are now more likely to repair their own equipment. Worryingly, 14% are even using damaged tools as they can't afford replacements.
