Ghana: unregistered locksmiths will be prosecuted The ministry of interior says it will arrest and prosecute all unregistered locksmiths in the country. According to the Minister, Mr. Kwesi Ahwoi, most of the locksmiths in the country are unregistered and there is "evidence available that unregistered locksmiths aid armed robbers by making keys for them." The Minister explained that by law, locksmiths should secure permits from the Ministry of Interior.

Law changing on enforced subject access requests The Ministry of Justice has announced that enforced subject access requests will become a criminal offence under new legislation set to be introduced on 1 December 2014.
