Electric Locks offer solution to City of London office building.

* Electric-locks1.jpg
Architectural Ironmonger G. Johns and Sons of London were involved with the specification for an access control system at the office block in the City of London, whereby the client wanted a flexible access control system with the minimum of ironmongery on the doors and did not require the use of surface mounted electro-magnetic locks.

They required a modern office appearance with clean stylish lines, with a high level of security and the flexibility to offer office space to their clients.

Jeremy Barltrop of G. Johns chose to use the Securefast ASEL2460 Electric Escape Lock on the two doors on each landing of the five story building with Karcher Stainless Steel lever handles and connected via heavy duty conductor hinges to a reader on the outside of the doors.

Dahua Smart Locks

* Dahua-Smart.jpg
Dahua Technology has released a new series of smart locks - The Bluetooth Series and Bluetooth & Wireless 433 series will bring enhanced and convenient protection it says.

Keys to traditional locks easily get lost and duplicated, and residents cannot remotely open or close doors when necessary. The compact & sleek looking Dahua smart lock combines a mechanical lock case with an electronic motor hiding in the panel. Locks with 8mm-square-bar lock bodies can be upgraded to Dahua smart locks without dismantling their original lock bodies, just by installing the new lock inners and outer panels.
