ERA Doorcam - smart technology's latest leap forward

With remote-controlled security operating systems becoming ever more popular, the latest tech development in home security is the ERA DoorCam Smart Home WiFi Video Doorbell.

Using a Smartphone app, DoorCam allows householders to view callers and talk to them in real time, whether they're home or not, offering not only convenience, but thanks to a motion detector which alerts householders when someone has arrived, added security and peace of mind.

Dome camera installation simplified with Wisenet X Plus

Nortech recommends the use of its Mifare readers and smartcards that have a dedicated secure access control sector.

The benefits of using smartcards with a dedicated access control sector is greatly improved security plus the ability to issue sequentially numbered cards to members, facilitating easier card management. In addition, the same cards can be used for other Mifare enabled facilities such as vending machines and fitness management systems.

Videx apprentice shines bright in new project manager role

In his new role as Business Development Manager, Lee Cook will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for Door Group's Repair, Service and Maintenance department.

Having worked his way up through British Steel; Lee went on to work for Kone, managing an extensive maintenance portfolio worth £1.5 million before securing his new role with Door Group.
