SSAIB calls for COVID-19 Key Worker clarity for Security and Fire Safety personnel
In this challenging time, with the closure of many business and the Prime Minister's statement to further restrict movement, it is important to ensure the vital national work that the private security industry firms carry out is recognised by the Government and that installers, maintainers, ARC operators and security guarding personnel are all designated as key workers. Lockexpo postponed - new dates in September
One in four don't lock their door survey reveals
The research - carried out among 2,008 UK adults through a Censuswide survey* - revealed that, on average, 1 in 4 never lock their front door when they go out, despite nearly 1 in 5 (17%) having experienced a burglary, and 1 in 3 of those having been burgled more than once.
