Originally designed to stop unwanted intrusions into hotel rooms with suspect door locks, the new DoorJammer is stronger, more compact and lighter. DoorJammer slots under most inward opening doors and keeps them shut when you really need them to.
Its mechanism means that the greater the effort to push and force entry from the outside - the more the DoorJammer stubbornly stays in place, keeping the occupant safe and secure.

Magenta Security Services offers significant support for SIA's next-gen qualifications
Magenta Security Services believes it is vital that the industry engage with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to develop the next generation of licencing qualifications. This follows the launch of a month-long consultation by the SIA which began on the 26th September.
The consultation hopes to re-establish a suitable framework and potential new content for the licencing qualifications of the future. The SIA has invited the private security industry to share its views, deeming it 'essential' for guaranteeing the new specifications are fit-for-purpose.

At IKEA, Mitie will offer a range of security services on sites across the UK including manned guarding, gate duties, vehicle and individual searches, and managing the security control room. The Auto Locksmiths EXhibition (ALEX), the only strictly auto locksmith exhibition in Europe, was held last weekend at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel. Locksmiths came in droves by car, rail and air from all corners of the UK and even across the channel!
We had visitors from Scotland, Bournemouth, Devon, London and even Ireland, Belgium and Holland, many of whom took advantage of the excellent overnight facilities available at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel. A few even floated in from wet Wales.
