So many very good locksmiths are struggling today with cheap competitors doing substandard work with substandard materials. And then the host of "national" companies with 50 phone numbers. Lockdecoders, right from the start, has concentrated on development of specialised equipment for auto locksmiths. That is the field where fly-by-nights have problems to function.
The firm is now offering a package for established domestic locksmiths to move successfully into auto work. With other reputable suppliers in the field and our friends at Kennet Leasing we have put together a mighty package of key-cutting, transponder cloning and key programming tools which can be leased over 5 years for just £16 per working day so you don't need to use up your working capital. Not hard to make a profit out of that!

Magenta Security Services offers significant support for SIA's next-gen qualifications
Magenta Security Services believes it is vital that the industry engage with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to develop the next generation of licencing qualifications. This follows the launch of a month-long consultation by the SIA which began on the 26th September.
The consultation hopes to re-establish a suitable framework and potential new content for the licencing qualifications of the future. The SIA has invited the private security industry to share its views, deeming it 'essential' for guaranteeing the new specifications are fit-for-purpose.
Double contract win for Mitie's security business
Mitie's security business has been awarded two contract wins with IKEA and Springfields, which together are worth £5 million per annum. The new contract with IKEA has been awarded for three years whilst Springfields has extended its existing contract for a further three years.
At IKEA, Mitie will offer a range of security services on sites across the UK including manned guarding, gate duties, vehicle and individual searches, and managing the security control room. This is the first time IKEA has changed its security provider in the UK in nine years and has chosen to adopt a different model to its other European operations.
